As seems to be the craze at the moment (all things dinosaur) this is a new incarnation of an old game. The game remains an excellent test of observation and memory with the added bonus of being able to say 'archaeopteryx'. The grand children love it.

I never played this game before so no idea if this normal but you have to slot cardboard pictures into the frames to play the game. That would be ok but they don’t stay in - so every time you flip them up or down the cards fall out. Took forever to set up - three minutes to play and then all needed setting up again. Disappointed

Alright, so here's the deal - I ordered the Exclusive Museum Dinosaur Edition Guess Who Board Game for a good bit of prehistoric fun with the little 'un. Who doesn't love a bit of dino trivia, right? 🦖💡 But here's the crux, the game is a cracking concept, I mean, it's Guess Who but with dinosaurs! Brilliant! However, I'm sad to report that it just didn't live up to the hype. 😔 The main issue comes down to the construction of the game board. It's proper flimsy! You've got these card pictures of dinosaurs that are supposed to slot in, but good luck keeping them there! A slight knock and they're all over the place. When the instructions tell you to flick the board to reset the game, you're practically asking for a dino blizzard. It's not a pretty sight, trust me.🌪️ Not to mention, some of the dinosaurs on the cards are a bit out there, you know? I mean, we all know the usual suspects - T-Rex, Triceratops, that kind of thing. But when you're trying to play with a 4-year-old who can't yet read but knows their dinosaurs, guessing some of the more obscure ones is downright impossible. 🤷‍♀️ As much as I hate to say it, this game just isn't worth the £25 I shelled out for it. I understand the need to keep costs down with cheaper materials and such, but when it interferes with the actual gameplay, I reckon they've missed the mark a bit. 😕 On the flip side, I do appreciate the aim of making learning about dinosaurs fun and interactive. If the execution was better, I think this game could be a real gem. It's such a shame to see a great concept let down by its practicality. So, I've decided to send it back. Perhaps if the price was halved, or the quality of the materials used was improved, I'd consider giving it another go. ⭐️Pros:⭐️ 🔸 Great concept - Guess Who with dinosaurs, who wouldn't love that? 🔸 Educational - Helps kids learn about new dinosaur species 🔸 Bright and colourful - Makes it attractive to the kids ⭐️Cons:⭐️ 🔸 Flimsy construction - The game board and card pieces just don't hold up 🔸 Difficult for non-readers - Some dinosaur species are too obscure for little ones to guess without being able to read 🔸 Overpriced - At £25, the quality just doesn't match up. In the end, while I hate being a Debbie Downer, it's only fair I give an honest account of our experience with this game. I really wanted to love it, but sometimes, things just don't turn out the way you expect. 🤷‍♀️🦕💔
