This is a usual high quality Schleich toy, healvy, sturdy and with shiny little eyes. Everything is excellent but there is just one unfulfilled (and probably unfulfillable) detail that is bothering me not really allowing to give it 5 stars. Since the good old Trice is unique for having that 360 degrees rotation bone its head used to sit on, what a treat it would have been to have it in this toy, at least partly, and regardless of it becoming much flimsier! Or at least having that option, where people could choose - this sturdy bulky dino or a flimsier Trice. I would have taken risks and bought the latter. Anyways, can only recommend. A grand little toy (not tiny, do not misread) but some mobile parts would have enhanced it.

This dinosaur brand is SUPERB. The figures are lifelike, and very weighty. I probably wouldn’t buy them for a one year old, say. They could definitely be used as a weapon! They are beautifully made though, and very much treasure by our dinosaur-mad 3 year old. I would absolutely recommend them and will be buying them again.

The Schleich Therizinosaurus figure was a fantastic birthday gift for my 4-year-old son, who loved it! The level of detail is amazing—the realistic texture, intricate design, and vibrant coloring really bring this prehistoric creature to life. You can tell that much effort went into making it look as authentic as possible. This figure is perfect for open-ended play. My son has enjoyed incorporating it into his dinosaur adventures, and it’s quickly become one of his favorites. It’s also sturdy and well-made, so I don’t worry about breaking during play. As someone familiar with Schleich’s reputation for quality, this figure lives up to their high standards. What made the gift even more special was that we spent time together researching the Therizinosaurus in his dinosaur books. It was a fun and educational activity that added even more excitement to the toy! The toy is a bit pricey for a single figure, but the quality of the material is miles above other cheap imports. If you do a modicum of research, you'll also find that German legal requirements for children's toy safety are much better than Chinese or other Asian ones. That said, the durability and craftsmanship make it worth it if you’re looking for something that will last for years. This is a great pick if you’re shopping for a dinosaur fan or looking for a unique toy to spark your child’s imagination.
