We are going to give it to our little 3 year old grandson for Christmas so have only tested it so far not proper usage buy seems really good fun. Easy to hold and use to make dinosaur 'roar' and breathe 'fire' which is a light coloured dry mist. What I particularly liked was there was no mess whatsoever so my daughter won't be cross with me. It doesn't actually wet anything, the vapour in the 'roar' is like a dry mist so doesn't soak your clothing or the furniture. It's actually quite impressive. It's a bit addictiveand noisy so I'm sure they'll thank me on Christmas Day after a while!

Boy my 4 and 6 year olds love this. It is a bit noisy (wish you could turn the roar off when you use the trigger!) but the water mist it produces is so effective. It really does look like it’s smoke/steam, and the red light behind it lights it up like it’s fire. In the dark or dimmer lighting it’s so fun! Bought one as a gift for a friend too

Bought on the back of other reviews and it is such a great gift. Bought for 3 year old who absolutely loves it! The fire/smoke is so realistic and a very very fine mist which doesn’t get you wet. It comes with a little plastic adapter to refill the tank of water, which lasts ages! The roar is a bit annoying but only as my grandson won’t put it down :) A great purchase, if in doubt just buy one, you won’t be disappointed!

I purchased this as a little add on gift for my nephew who is 3 and loves dinosaurs. Took it around Christmas morning and toys were everywhere! Later that evening I received a message from his nan to say "all the money we've spent on toys and him and his cousin have shared that dinosaur all day" They love it that much I've ordered 2 more! Kid loved this toy, good quality, sound and very novel with the steam and red light combination giving a nice effect of a fire breathing dinosaur! Can’t comment on the longevity as most kids attention span doesn’t go past 3-4 days with a particular toy plus not sure I’d want my kids playing with it months from now as would be concerned with mould or other water bourne nasties as you can’t clean inside the gun, but just my opinion!
