Great design concept, but I suspect this is not very sturdy. My primary concern is the wheels of the main transporter vehicle, which are not only not solid rubber, vinyl or plastic, but they are in fact only partially formed, having an outer facing side and a 'tread' but no back/inner face. I anticipate these splitting of cracking after some relatively short period of play activity. Also not sure how robust the trailer doors are to enthusiastic handling by excited young hands. A slightly older child who plays carefully is less likely to damage parts of this, than any child who gets animated, excited or over-enthusiastic in their creative play, those later kids I suspect may find this not robust enough to survive energetic handling. This is a gift for a 4-year-old, with a slightly older brother, let's see how long it lasts in their household!
