Although this toy is described as being suitable, for 1, 2, and 3 year olds, it is actually quite a lot smaller than expected. Therefore, I've had to put this away and choose another gift for the little 1 year old boy, who I had wanted to give it to. That said, it is a lovely little train/educational toy, and I'm sure he'll love it once he's around 2.

This is a lovely little toy train and animal set. It is well made with lovely bright colours which kids love. The child can have a lot of fun playing with this and learning skills at the same time without really trying. Perfect for dexterity and hand to eye coordination. The child has to match the animal with the train by either the number in figures or by counting then attach them to the train via magnets. The animal has to be positioned correctly before it clicks into place so again this helps them improve their dexterity skills. The trains then attach to each other by magnets. Hours if fun to be had. This is a well thought out toddlers toy.
